November Continuing Education Workshop on Pest Control
October 29, 2021 – The Mariposa County Department of Agriculture in conjunction with the University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) will present the 2021 Annual Winter Pest Management Workshop on Thursday 18 November, 2021, at Mariposa Fairgrounds Building A.
If you are interested in learning about California’s pesticide regulation regarding renovation requirements, pesticide label dismantling, brush spraying, fire breaker maintenance, top ten violations, non-chemical options for weed control, oak tree management, or using Fire for Weed Management, come and join us in this workshop.
If you need continuing education hours to obtain a California Department of Pesticide Regulatory License or Special Applicant Certification, 6 hours of continuing education credits are approved in DPR including 2.5 hours of laws and regulations.
On-site registration for the workshop will start at 8:00 AM and the workshop will start from 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM
The cost of the workshop is $40 and includes snacks, lunch, and flyer materials. Registration is required; Please register via Friday 12 November, 2021.
Please be prepared to show a photo ID for admission to the workshop. Bring a chair cushion for your comfort.
