SAN LANDRO – No injuries were reported in an early morning shoot-out between thieves and security guards at a marijuana dispensary here and no arrests were made, police said.
A shootout was reported around 1:30 a.m. at Bloom Cannabis Infirmary, 1915 Fairway Drive, authorities said.
Police said a large group of suspects tried to storm the shop but were thwarted when they got into an exchange of fire with security guards.
Lieutenant Colonel Matt Barajas said no one was hurt in the crossfire and “there was no entry, no loss.”
The suspects fled before the police arrived at the scene.
Detailed descriptions of the suspects have not been released.
Barajas said police were investigating whether the suspects had links to other groups and break-ins in other cities.
