Cannabis business certificate programs are now offered at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
UArizona partners with educational marijuana company Green Flower to offer non-credit programs designed to help prepare the workforce for the state’s certified medical and recreational marijuana industries.
Programs include cannabis business, cannabis law and policy, health care and cannabis medicine. Each certificate includes three eight-week online courses that take six months to complete.
“We are pleased to partner with Green Flower to help learners gain the skills needed to be professionals in the thriving cannabis industry,” He said Craig Wilson, the University of Arizona’s vice dean for online, distance, and continuing education education said in a statement. “Understanding multiple perspectives such as business, law, politics, healthcare and medicine as they relate to the cannabis industry will help our learners create a solid foundation.”
Arizona cannabis certification programs It costs about $2,950, and discounts of $500 are available for early-registers.
