The annual ADCANN Awards honor the campaign that combined education for social issues and support for nonprofits with the title of best among dozens of nominees
DENVER, Jan 25, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The year-round effort of the Creative Cannabis Movement is named to educate the cannabis community on critical issues while supporting important nonprofits Marketing Campaign of the Year in the year Adkan AwardsIt is presented each year to honor “The Best in Cannabis Marketing and Advertising”.
It was launched in April 2021, The creative movement of cannabis is a joint initiative of POV Creativean award-winning cannabis marketing agency focused on the community, and ninth block, a business + communications company focused on the cannabis industry, healthcare and technology. Working with a network of nonprofit organizations with expertise on critical issues of importance to the cannabis community, the group has researched, written, designed and promoted a series of downloadable brochures, each focused on a specific pressing issue. Additionally, each educational guide focused on the efforts of a particular nonprofit organization while helping to raise awareness about the ways in which individuals can get involved.

The 2021 award winners were chosen from more than 400 nominations submitted, which narrowed down to 266 first-round nominees and 80 finalists. Then, members of the public and the ADCANN community voted to determine the final prize winners, with over 100,000 votes cast.
