Cannabis consumers in British Columbia are now free to use private delivery services

BC cannabis Consumers are now free to use the county’s private delivery services. BC . government owned cannabis stores I’ve been able to do it since then legislation. The British Columbia government extended this freedom to private stores last year. But the retailer’s staff provided delivery service.

From July 8, couriers can deliver entertainment Hemp from a private retailer via mail or special delivery.

Long time ago

According to the province’s cannabis stakeholders, the move has been a long time coming. Before the rule change, BC Liquor Distribution monopolized online selling and delivery.

“Since the federal ratification of nomedical cannabiswe have continued to search for ways to support cannabis industry in our province while providing British Columbians with safe and accessible options,” said Mike Farnworth, Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General.

“Expanding delivery service options not only builds equity within the market, but also gives consumers an extra reason to buy legal rather than illegal,” he added.

New study on cannabis: Raison D’état?

Around the same time that the British Columbia government announced that cannabis consumers were free to use private delivery services, the government released a new study on cannabis. They claim to show anxiety levels of Insecticides Used by old market farms. (It doesn’t matter how many times Health Canada Discover “Organizer” LPs using pesticides).

Farnworth says the study is another reason to make legal, regulated cannabis easier. Not to mention that one of the “concerns” in the study is that most illegal vaping products contain high concentrations of THC. As if exceeding the legal THC cap is a negative. In fact, it’s the legal restrictions on THC that send so much to the old market.

The study’s limited selection of inherited cannabis on the market does not help explain its thesis that “illicit cannabis” is somehow more dangerous than “regulated cannabis.” Furthermore, since the government confiscated samples from illegal retailers, we have no information about who produced the cannabis. Or how they produced it, what kind of environment it was grown in, or whether contamination of the products occurred somewhere down the supply chain and not necessarily on the farm.

BC Cannabis consumers are now free to use special delivery services

Cannabis consumers in British Columbia are now free to use private delivery services. But what about private testing services? What about private farmers that are not regulated by the federal government?

Farnworth’s sniffing study says, “Cannabis products must be tested within the legal and regulatory system and pass quality specifications, and if contaminants are found Licensed Producers to tackle the problem.”

But history shows that they “remediate the issue” through hide pesticides in ceiling tiles. Meanwhile, some of Health Canada’s pencil attackers are walking around as if they knew what they were doing.

Cannabis consumers in British Columbia are now free to use private delivery services. But when will they be free to use a special regulatory service?

The study concluded that “unless the consumer is purchasing from a legal and regulated source, there is no mechanism or oversight to protect the consumer from false and misleading product claims and from potentially harmful contaminants.”

But this is wrong. Government bureaucracy is not a kind of censorship. It is not an effective mechanism to protect consumers. Often, the process is “controlled” by lobbying interests. This is exactly how the legalization of cannabis in Canada ended with large corporate conglomerates while the majority of BC Bud remains illegal.

Cannabis consumers in British Columbia are now free to use private delivery services. But that’s like leaving the dog off a leash in your own backyard. It should always have been fine. It’s time to take your dog to the park and let him run with the other dogs. Just as it is time for BC to step back from state control and allow BC Bud to supply Canadians with safe, clean, high-quality cannabis.
