Hemp Recipe 101: How to Make Vegan Pot Brownies

Consider the cake. There are several reasons why it has been popular for decades as an iconic Kanas food: It’s decadent, delicious, and hides the herbal taste of herbs better than most foods.

But like many foods, it may not fit into everyone’s digestive sweet spot. Cakes are often made from eggs and animal fats, which are not vegetarian in nature. Or at least it was. These delicious vegan brownies have all the benefits of ooey gooey without the animal products – a truly elevated herb brownie experience.

You’ll need an 8″ x 8″ pan and parchment paper for these vegan brownie treats. Parchment is a must when making brownies – it can stick to the pan and prevent you from indulging in every last bite.

How to make a bowl of brownies: a vegan version

Ingredients

You’ll need a marinade infused with hemp for this recipe. If you are new to cannabutter, Follow these instructions.

  • ½ cup (115 g) vegetable hemp (melted)
  • 1 1/2 cups (300 g) sugar
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) of non-dairy milk
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) vanilla
  • 1 cup (150 g) flour
  • 3/4 cup (90 g) cocoa powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon (0.75 g) baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon (0.50 g) salt
  • 1 cup (175 g) vegan chocolate chips

Any dairy-free milk will work in this recipe. Silk contains many dairy-free varieties, including oats, coconut, and almonds. They come both sweetened and unsweetened, so keep in mind that they may alter the flavor of the brownies.

Step one: prepare the pan

Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

First coat the bottom and edges of the pan with some vegetable butter. This helps the parchment paper stick to the pan. Cut a piece of parchment that fits into the pan. Now grease a piece of paper with butter.

Step 2: Mix the wet ingredients

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dissolved vegan hemp and sugar. Add milk and vanilla. Whisk until fully blended.

Step 3: Mix the dry ingredients

In another bowl, mix flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Whisk to remove any lumps.

Step 4: Mix wet and dry ingredients

Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and stir until well combined.

Fold the chocolate chips.

Step 6: Add the batter to the pan

Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared skillet.

Bake for 25 minutes.

How to store vegetable herbal brownie

These amazing brownies have hard edges with a sticky center. It will overcook if left in the oven for more than the time mentioned above.

Allow it to cool completely before cutting it into any size you want.

Store in an airtight container over the counter between bites.
