The new star brand was the first announce On August 11, players will only be offering a selection of strains, hemp oil cartridges, pre-rolls, and vapes, as well as sports recovery and performance products. Players will only roll out branded clothes and shoes.
Last March, TerrAscend acquired exclusive retail rights to Players Only products in Michigan through the acquisition of Gage Growth Corp., securing a path for the brand to decline.

In October last year, Weber revealed a cannabis facility in Detroit with its own growing facility, dispensary and consumption hall. The 180,000-square-foot players-only facility is named the Webber Wellness Complex.
The first strains introduced include C4, Time Out, and GoAT’s Milk, as well as Non-Laters and Whipped Cherries. Later, the brand will roll out additional strains including Blueberry Hotcakes and Ray Jackson’s Black Sox within weeks. While C4 can give an Afghani-like appeal, goat milk tends to have more sativa with a balanced amount of THC and CBD, according to reviewers. Whipped cherries, on the other hand, taste just as you’d expect them to.
The brand also announced a partnership with Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan to launch “Chef’s Courtesies” and his partnership with Citizen Grown. Another collaboration involving Hasim Robinson and Winner’s Circle Genetics, is to bring the PB&J strain as well as Quavo’s BIRKINZ to the Michigan cannabis market. Detroit’s old brand “Lil Stupid” will also be launching for the first time in the adult-use market, while Detroit’s Royce da 5’9 will roll out its “Heaven” brand as part of the NFT. Weber’s former teammate at the Sacramento Kings, Jason Williams, will also reveal the white chocolate breed.
Webber recently appointed former NBA star and teammate Matt Barnes as the lead collaborator during the release of The Smoke with his partner and host Stephen Jackson. The name of the subtraction is a nod to SHOWTIME Award winning Barnes and Jackson series, “All The Smoke.”
