Denver’s iconic Mile High 420 Fest recently announced its return to the Civic Center park this year. The event, which takes place on Thursday, April 20, celebrates the unofficial fiesta with music, food trucks, vendors, and a mass action at 4:20 p.m.
New in 2023: The festival will be restricted to attendees 21 and older, though that shouldn’t come as a surprise. Last year, the Mile High 420 Fest promised it would enforce an age limit at future events after parents raised concerns about open cannabis consumption on site.
(It’s technically illegal to smoke cannabis in public, Denver police love to remind locals, but that doesn’t stop it from happening at the festival.)
