Massachusetts lawmakers have introduced legislation to decriminalize psychedelic mushrooms and other botanicals

First it was the decriminalization of marijuana. Could psychedelic mushrooms and other plants be next in Massachusetts?

Two bills have been introduced in the state house to end arrests on psilocybin mushrooms, ayahuasca, mescaline and ibogaine in the Bay State. This push for statewide decriminalization comes after some cities, including Somerville and Cambridge, voted to decriminalize narcotic mushrooms and other heat plants.

The sale of psychedelic mushrooms is still not permitted under this legislation.
