The cannabis beverage business has been hit with $45,000 fines for violations at the 420 Mile High Festival

The cannabis beverage company will pay $45,000 in fines after violating the rules at the 420 Mile High Festival in Denver held in April.

The violations resulted in a $15,000 fine. An additional $30,000 will be suspended for a year, in case of future violations.

Denver Packaging, also operating as Keef Brands, admitted seven violations on April 20, including illegal acts, packaging and labeling, according to city documents released Thursday. The company will have to pay the fines within 90 days.
