Peter Dragon, founder of Keurig, has joined the executive team of a marijuana accessory startup in Kentucky with the goal of launching its first funding round.
Dragone, who introduced K-Cups to the market in 2004, has played a role as an equity partner for Convenient Cannabis, maker of Puffsy pods.

The single-serve pods, made of recyclable glass, are pre-loaded with cannabis and fit most standard staples and tubes.
Dragone is not an investor in Convenient Cannabis, according to CEO and founder of Convenient Cannabis Zacharia Corsimilia.
But as the Acting CFO and Strategic Advisor, he will play a key role in connecting the company with potential backers.
