The two multistate cannabis testing laboratories, which recently teamed up to set industry standards, are working to broaden their footprints.
Michigan-based multistate lab operator ACT Labs got Florida testing company Green Scientific Lab Holdings and related assets.
California-based SC Labs was acquired C4 labs testing process in arizona.

ACT and SC declined to disclose the terms of their transactions to MJBizDaily.
However, ACT noted personnel movement in a press release announcing its acquisition:
Rafael Pomponato, Chief Compliance Officer and Interim CEO of Green Scientific, will become ACT’s Vice President of Quality. Diana Asensio, currently director of the Green Scientific lab in Florida, will continue in the same role at ACT.
According to the release, the acquisition of the Florida lab brings the number of marijuana markets to eight in which ACT operates or will operate by the end of the year.
